MED 27 Application Form

In the spirit of the Mediterranean Encounters held in Marseille (2023), Tirana (2024), and Barcelona (2026), a second edition of the Bel Espoir will be organized with the Rara Avis in 2027. From March to June 2027, AJD (Les Amis de Jeudi et Dimanche), Mar Yam, and ICM (Institut Catholique de la Méditerranée) will join forces to propose MED 27 Rara Avis, School of Peace. This unique three-month Mediterranean journey will bring together 100 young people aged 18 to 30 from the five shores of the Mediterranean, representing diverse cultures and faith traditions. Through dialogue, cooperation, and shared experiences, participants will learn and develop the skills needed to build peace together. This special training programme will lead to a Certificate in Peace Dialogue. Four sessions are planned: Session 1 from 19 March to 6 April 2027, from Málaga (Spain) to Malta; Session 2 from 9 April to 27 April 2027, from Malta to Alexandria (Egypt); Session 3 from 30 April to 18 May 2027, from Alexandria (Egypt) to Catania (Sicily); and Session 4 from 21 May to 8 June 2027, from Catania (Sicily) to Málaga (Spain). If you are between 18 and 30 years old and would like to take part in one of these sessions, please submit your application using this form.
